To set them poles apart from the competition, Durham University needed the best test equipment available when characterising magnets.
By using AC and DC power supplies from ETPS, the institute are able to gather accurate experimental data. This allows them to validate and understand the limitations of their numerical models, while ensuring confidence in a specific device design.
