Thousands of critical devices are energised around the world every day by ETPS power systems. Available product ranges include programmable AC-DC power supplies and bidirectional DC power systems, as well as fixed output DC-AC inverters.

ETPS’s long history of supplying ruggedised power systems has seen us become the go-to provider across many different industries. Previous projects span many areas from ship mounted power systems for towed array sonar and cathodic protection, to inverters for rail carriages and military vehicles.

Environmental conditions which products are guarded against include shock, vibration and humidity. When operating in extremely hot environments, liquid cooling is possible for selected DC power supply models. Information on the technical characteristics for each product family is available via the downloadable datasheets.

Besides withstanding harsh environments, it’s also crucial in many applications that the power system is highly efficient and compact to maximise on-board space and energy. Our power dense ranges include systems which provide 21kW of DC power in just a 3U high case. Selected product families have a PFC ≥0.99, allowing for smaller components and cabling throughout the relevant circuit.

Rugged DC Power Supplies

Our comprehensive selection of heavy-duty DC sources cater for virtually any power, voltage or current requirement. Selected units can withstand up to 20g of mechanical shock across X, Y and Z axes. An embedded function generator is available to implement specific DC waveforms for applications such as powering towed array sonar systems and on-board transmitters in defence vehicles.
