Three Phase AC Sources
Modern electronic products must perform under all types of input conditions, not just their ideal ones. The programmability of our three phase AC sources allow virtually any line condition to be created. Ensuring devices perform as expected, always.
Every system features a sinewave output as standard. Other waveforms such as square, sawtooth and triangle are possible, allowing a wide variety of operating scenarios to be simulated. Real world load balancing processes, such as ripple control, can be superimposed onto existing waveforms.
Where users are looking for a precision when simulating high power AC devices, the linear EAC-3S is the perfect choice. The unit is built with EN 61000-4-11 test sequences as standard. Voltage and current limits can be set individually for each phase, providing up to 3 different outputs with one system. Adjustable frequency from 2kHz all the way to DC operation is possible with selected models.
Aerospace power sources, which commonly operate at 400Hz and above, can be accurately recreated. Other common test applications include powering equipment which requires a revolving magnetic field and AC motor research. Our switch mode and motor driven models are also commonly found in industrial processes which require bulk AC power.
To aid system integration, a variety of analogue and computer interfaces can be specified. Popular methods of remote control include RS-232, Ethernet and IEEE 488.2 among others. Industry specific interfaces such as CAN are available with selected models.

The EAC-TAVS is a series of programmable high power AC voltage sources. Each system provides a true sinewave output as standard. The output frequency is adjustable between 45-105Hz. Different frequency ranges are optional, with up to 805Hz possible.

The EAC-MT-3P is based around a motor driven transformer with galvanic isolation. This approach is ideal for cost conscious users that do not require frequency adjustment or current limiting. The output voltage is adjustable and can also be preset and released.

The EAC-3S is based on a linear platform ensuring a very clean output waveform. This three phase AC Source can be used in DC, single or 3 phase mode. With sine, square, triangular and arbitrary functions the test engineer can simulate a wide range of conditions.
