Battery Chargers
ETPS have been trusted for many years to supply reliable battery and super capacitor chargers, where failure is not an option.
Our range of heavy duty chargers support Li-ion, Ni-Cd, Ni-MH and lead acid chemistries among others. Intelligent battery chargers with automatic charge current adjustment and temperature compensation are offered. Controllers are available which facilitate battery management with load control.
If you have a non-standard battery voltage from 15V up to 1500V, output nominals from the high power BC-HP-E range can be modified free-of-cost. So for example, if you required an 850Vdc charger at 100kW, then we could provide this with no impact on price or lead time.
An inbuilt function generator is available for the high power BC-TC which allows a specific current vs voltage profile to be provided for sensitive battery loads. The same function generator allows the modular charger to deliver user defined short bursts of energy for pulsed charging.
Optional extras are available for selected models, such as a wide AC or a DC input for unusual line conditions. Flight case integrations are possible where mobile charging is required. Rugged units are available where the charger is to be used in a harsh environment that is likely to experience shock, vibration and humidity.

- A full range of DC loads are available with adjustable load on/load off voltage values. This prevents damaging deep discharge of connected battery packs.

Modules are available in 10kW, 16kW, 20kW and 32kW nominals. The unit's VLS allows the output relays to be activated automatically when specific output values are met, protecting batteries from any damaging charge conditions.

In addition to standard BC-HP-E models, you can specify your own nominal voltage up to 1500V often at no additional cost. A ten turn digitally encoded potentiometer allows for straight forward front panel operation.

The BC-REC-8400's integrated controller provides both monitoring and control. This controller facilitates battery management with load control, capacity test, charging characteristic, short battery test and low-voltage-disconnect.
