Bidirectional Hire Units Over 4700A

Are you looking to perform rapid battery cycling at kiloamp level for AI datacentres? Do you have an upcoming short circuit test? Perhaps you're struggling to get capital expenditure approved for a high current bidirectional power system? Then we have the perfect solution.

Our rental range has a temporary increase in capability, with an additional 54kW/80V G5-RSS-HC available in the UK for a limited time. Master/slave configurations are now possible up to 80V/±4732A/126kW. High voltage modules up to 2000V/324kW are also available.

The G5-RSS-HC features industry leading dynamics, with response times as fast as 25µs for current steps between quadrants. Users can program a current ripple up to 10kHz for EIS testing.

Each module has an extensive feature set which includes programmable PI parameters and an inbuilt 8 channel recording scope. Adjustable power and resistance limits are provided. A HMI is provided for simple programming. Analogue, ethernet, USB and a high-speed 1kHz CAN interface are also standard with each module.

A selection of application GUIs are provided with each unit for battery emulation/cycling, electric drive testing and photovoltaic simulation. An embedded function generator allows almost any complex DC waveform to be implemented. Parametric programming is possible, where instead of the time axis an input variable (VIN, IIN or PIN) can be selected.
