This range of high power electronic loads provides up to 4000A of sink capability at 20kW. Each load can operate in nine different modes: CC, CV, CR, CP, CV+CC, CV+CP, MPPT, dynamic and short mode.
Dual setting and measurement ranges are provided. A 150-state memory is accessible via the front panel, which allows quick initialisation and limit-setting of the units. A sequencing function means that stored settings can be implemented against time, enabling the unit to carry out state-dependant and complex test routines from the front panel.

Systems are configured from individual 5kW DC loads operated in parallel connection. Each unit is able to operate independently, so that systems can be expanded or broken up as needs dictate.
Our rental systems can be combined in parallel connection with any ELP-34105 series units you have previously purchased.
Operating Ranges and Features
150-state memory is provided as standard, which allows quick initialisation and limit-setting of the unit. This makes the ELP-34105 both dependable, and mobile as an on-site load tester.
The LCD display simultaneously shows voltage, current and power. A sequencing function means that stored settings can be implemented against time, enabling the unit to carry out state-dependant and complex test routines without the need for a computer interface.
The ELP-34105 series is able to operate at maximum current from 1000V to 0.7V. This allows one system to test many different types of devices. When operating below 0.7V, the maximum amount of current that the load can sink decreases.
All units can operate in CC, CV, CR, CP, CV+CC, CV+CP, MPPT, dynamic and short modes.
The ELP-34105 series has a total of 5 battery discharge modes. These simplify test set up for users, whilst avoiding conditions which could result in permanent battery damage due to over or under voltage.
Interfaces and Control
Front panel control is provided as standard with each unit. Removable computer interfaces are also available on request.
APPLICATION SPECIFIC GUIs
On request a current waveform generator can be provided. This allows the electronic load to sink different levels of energy over time.
An ELP-34105 system was used by Brunel University London to perform discharge tests on a custom battery pack design they had created. The versatility of the load means that it is used on a variety of projects by multiple departments, from PV array testing to loading fuel cells.
