Up to eight units from the ELP-34000C series can be arranged in parallel configurations. It is possible to connect 6kW to 24kW models with the same nominal voltage with different nominal power values, up to a maximum of 192kW. For example, an 8kW system and a 18kW system can be operated together. 24kW/150V systems are an exception, as they can only be operated in parallel connection with models of the exact same specifications. 

The diagram above shows eight different 600V models from the ELP-34000C family operating in parallel together. When operating in master/slave operation, a number of test modes are not available. Please see the datasheet for more information.

150-state memory is available as standard, which allows quick initialisation and limit-setting of the unit. This makes the ELP-34000C both dependable, and mobile as an on-site load tester.

The LCD display simultaneously shows voltage, current and power. A sequencing function means that stored settings can be implemented against time, enabling the unit to carry out state-dependant and complex test routines without the need for a computer interface. 

The ELP-34000C series is able to operate at maximum current across most of its voltage range, with current derating at low voltages. This allows one system to test many different types of devices. Please see the datasheet for characterisation values.

All units can operate in CC, CV, CR, CP, CV+CC, CV+CP, MPPT, Dynamic and Short Modes.

The ELP-34000C series has a total of 5 battery discharge modes. These simplify test set up for users, whilst avoiding conditions which could result in permanent battery damage due to over or under voltage. 

Front Panel Control and Memory

Front panel control is provided as standard, which all the unit's test and operating modes can be implemented through. A five digit display simultaneously provides actual values taken by the load. Users can view measurements for voltage, current and power.

Each ELP-34000C features a front panel memory which can store 150 operation states or testing steps. Each state can store or recall the load status and level for the electronic load simultaneously. A sequencing function means that stored settings can be implemented against time, enabling the unit to carry out complex test routines without the need for a computer interface.

Retrofitable Interface Cards (Optional)

A variety of interface options are available including RS-232, GPIB, USB and LAN. Interface cards can also be easily retro-fitted or even swapped in the field by the user, further expanding the ELP-34000C's capability. This is possible by simply removing two screws, as highlighted.

A host of protection features guard the unit against over power, voltage, temperature and reverse polarity.
