The BC-REC-8400 is a high performance flexible battery charging system. By paralleling the modules on the DC bus, an output range from 4.2kW up to 67kW can be achieved. The integrated controller which is operable via Ethernet provides both monitoring and control. This controller facilitates battery management with load control, capacity test, charging characteristic, short battery test and low-voltage-disconnect. Only one controller per system is required. The BC-5000 is a high power high performance battery charging system with a wide input voltage range. Relatively low levels of input energy are needed to power your application due to the unit's high efficiencies of >90%. An integrated battery charging management system maximises both the capacity and cycle life of the battery.

The intelligent three stage charging system is suitable for a variety of rechargeable chemistries including Lithium-Ion, Lead Acid and Nickel based. Safety features include galvanic isolation of input and output, over voltage and short circuit protection.

The BC-5000 is ideal for use in a variety of industries that require 48V battery packs, ranging from power plants and industrial systems to telecommunications and rail.
